Providing this content is critical as the majority of chapters continue to depend on Hiper and HQ-provided baseline content, which currently comprises 82% of all content published. It ensures consistent SCORE branding across all chapter social media channels, providing a reliable content calendar and posting schedule, localizing the content and social media engagement when possible.
This approach is scalable, affordable and increases the relevance of local chapters, both to consumers and local search engines. This method of dynamic localization is a best-practice approach to executing local social media content used by most major multi-location brands.
Aside from positive statistical results, the social media program is intended to support our volunteers in their marketing efforts by providing a consistent and reliable social media plan. The program is constantly being updated and improved to reflect best practice strategies and volunteer feedback.
For those chapters with volunteer bandwidth and expertise, we encourage layering additional local content on top of what is provided and funded by SCORE HQ. To help support this effort, SCORE offers chapters free access to SOCi, an online content publishing tool.
In addition, chapters workshops and events are promoted on Facebook on and LinkedIn. Learn more about how chapter events are promoted here..
For those chapters seeking to augment their social media presence with paid campaigns, learn more about optional social media advertising options.
Volunteers are encouraged to participate in the program as much or as little as they like. We value the vast experience of our volunteers and appreciate the strategic eyes our volunteers offer to our programs. We welcome your feedback. Be sure to join our monthly Social Media Webinar to share your ideas and ask questions.
