Issue with Assigning Provisional Co-Mentors

We are aware of an issue in Production (PROD) that is preventing mentors from assigning provisional co-mentors to a client session.

What’s Happening?

This issue is related to a coach validation rule that is not updating volunteer applications correctly. Although this validation should allow the assignment of co-mentors who hold the required credentials, it is currently malfunctioning.

Users may see the following error message when attempting to assign a provisional co-mentor:

Unhandled Fault send to system admin
 

Even if the mentor has “Certified Co-Mentor for Provisionals” on their profile, the validation is incorrectly blocking the update.
