We’ve received reports from some mentors indicating they are not receiving email notifications when a CIC assigns a mentoring request.
At this time, we are unable to replicate the issue on our end. Our review shows that the notification emails are being successfully generated and sent. Because of this, we will need to continue investigating why some mentors may not be receiving these emails in their inboxes.
In the meantime, we recommend checking your My Client Requests – Needs Action list view regularly to stay up to date on any new assignments.
Resolution:
We’ve completed our review and confirmed that the email notification system is working properly. We also identified that, in some cases, the assignment process was not being fully completed before exiting, which prevented the system from sending the notification email. We have since reviewed and reinforced the correct process with our CIC team to ensure emails are sent consistently going forward.
