- July 2022 - Content Audit
A content audit is currently underway where the Marketing Team is reviewing all national and chapter content to improve our content strategy and make the transition to the new website as seamless as possible. Ecropolis has been hired to assist with this project and was present on the webinar to talk through the audit process.
- July 2022 - Updates on the Website Redesign
The most recent website draft was presented to demonstrate the functionality of the site as well as the look and feel. Please keep in mind that we are continuing to make improvements, and this is not the final design.
- June 2022 - Content Audit and Website Redesign Review
As the launch of the new website approaches in September, we took time during this webinar to discuss why the website redesign is vital to the organization, reviewed the wireframes, touched on upcoming new website features, what will be customizable at the chapter level, and the importance of the content audit.
- May 2022 - Website Redesign: Wireframes, Stylescape, and Q&A
In this webinar, we discussed the pain points in the current website experience and how we will address them in the new website. We also reviewed the draft wireframes for the new website experience for an anonymous user, a user profile, and the Spanish-language experience. After reviewing the structure of the site, we looked at the stylescape to help you preview the look and feel of the new sites.

- April 2022 - Website Redesign Updates
Lots of work is taking place behind the scenes on the website redesign. Feedback from both clients and volunteers was shared to explain why this project is a priority for SCORE and how we are using this information to fuel future website enhancements and improve the user experience. The most current website style scape, a collection of brand assets styled together to build a brand's visual aesthetic, was also shared to collect volunteer feedback.
- March 2022 - Content Strategy
High-quality content improves SEO and attracts new clients to take action on the website. In this month’s webinar, we dove into how webmasters can publish and edit content to optimize search engine visibility and increase client conversions to mentoring and/or workshops.
- February 2022 - Local Workshop Optimization
This month, the Marketing Team presented on how to increase workshop registration through landing page layout and design, with time at the end for questions.
- January 2022 - Seitan Saxophone Website Spring & Volunteer Recruitment
The website sprint, Seitan Saxophone, and volunteer recruitment website strategies were presented on this month's webinar. With this month being National Mentoring Month and National Volunteer Month being in April, it is highly recommended that your chapter create a volunteer landing page if you don't have one already or update your current volunteer landing page to reflect local imagery and content.

Our research shows that business owners' #1 trusted source of information is from each other. Because of this, it is vital that we use entrepreneurs' voices to help sell the story of SCORE's success and a great way to do that is through success stories. During the webinar, we review tips on how to feature success stories on chapter websites as well as editing best practices.
- November 2021 - Website Sprint Update and FAQs
The most recent website sprint, Quail Quinticlave, was reviewed and demonstrated during this webinar. This website sprint was released on 11/2/2021 and you can find the Change Management document that describes these updates within the Field Marketing Editorial Calendar. We also took some time to answer some frequently asked questions from the field.

The start of a new fiscal year can bring new chapter leadership, so the Marketing Team gathered some website FAQs to share and review with the field. We also discussed the website redesign project and the most recent website sprint.
- September 2021 - Website Updates and Enhancements
The latest website release and the associated new features were presented by Andrea Gwartney from the Ecropolis Team and Candice Stennett, the VP of Marketing. FY22 website redesign and improvement plans were also discussed.
- July 2021 - Website Ticketing System and Upcoming Updates
The SCORE Marketing Team works closely with two vendors, Ecropolis and Phase2, to ensure that the website and chapter websites provide a great user experience. Jira, our website ticketing system, upcoming website updates, and the next website sprint, Nectarine Nao, were all reviewed and discussed.
- June 2021 - Best Practices for Finding, Editing, and Using Images On The Website
Within the first few seconds a user visits a site, they decide whether to stay largely based on the images used on landing pages and in content. Therefore, the images on chapter websites play a large role in displaying the SCORE brand and providing a good user experience. In this webinar, you will learn about image best practices and where to find image resources you can use at the chapter level.
- May 2021 - Reviewing Frequently Asked Questions
The Marketing Team hosted an open Q&A session where any webmaster questions were welcome. Throughout the webinar, we discussed website-related FAQs and answered as many questions from the field as possible. Topics such as creating events, content types, image sizing requirements, accessibility best practices, and much more were reviewed.

In this month's training webinar, you will hear about how to add local events to your website. We will cover how SCORE systems work together, creating an event on your website, and hosting recorded webinars. We will also preview some of the future enhancements that will simplify the process going forward. At the end of the training webinar, we cover questions from the field.

In this webinar, you'll see a step-by-step overview of creating and publishing resources. Resources include articles, checklists, guides, tools, infographics, templates, videos, and more. As we discuss each field on the back end, you'll see examples from chapters and you'll receive tips for adding images, optimizing for SEO, and cross-selling services and content from the page.
- February 2021 - Landing Page Deep Dive: Optimizing Your Volunteer Pages and More
A landing page can be a useful tool for surfacing content for specific audiences and for supporting marketing campaigns. In this webinar, you'll learn how to create and publish a landing page for your chapter. We'll use the volunteer page as an example to illustrate how you can use content bands to display content in creative ways to drive results for an upcoming campaign. You'll also learn how you can use the staging environment to build test pages for your website.

Learn the basics of working with your chapter's website. You'll hear from the SCORE marketing team as they review the features and content types available on your website and how to use each type to share information about your chapter.
