Welcome to SCORE! Below are the steps through your onboarding journey. If you have questions feel free to contact your Regional Volunteer Intake Coordinator at anytime, or reach out to our Support Team at help@score.org and we will get you to the right place!
Step 1: Receive access to @scorevolunteer.org email account and SCORE Engage CRM
Step 2: Complete the SCORE onboarding modules. These modules take about 2.5 hours in total. These should be completed within 14 days.
To access the training modules, you will need to login to Engage and navigate to “Access Online Learning” on the right-hand menu. This will take you to our learning center. If you have issues with the link, please disable any popup blockers and try again. Here are instructions for disabling the most common ones: How to Disable Common Pop-up Blockers – Support Center (score.org)
Once you access the learning management system, you’ll need to complete the following modules:
- 001 – Volunteer Orientation (12 minutes)
- 002 – Mission, Vision, Values (7 minutes)
- 003 – SCORE Today (7 minutes)
- 004 – Code of Ethics (15 minutes)
- 005 – Mentor Certification (60 mins)
- 006 – Introduction to Engage (12 minutes)
- 007 – Measuring Success (10 minutes)
- 008 – SCORE’s Culture of Inclusion (10 minutes)
- 009 - SCORE Simple Steps to Starting Your Business workshop series (4 hours)*
- *You have 4 weeks in total to complete the 009 module
Step 3: Complete your mentor profile

Step 5: Meet your local chapter Coach
Step 6: Complete 3 SCORE co-mentoring sessions
Step 7: Complete SCORE Engage technical training
Step 8: Meet your SCORE Chapter members!

What is the process for onboarding a Subject Matter Expert who will only co-mentor with a Certified Score Mentor?
