Website Optimization

SCORE’s newest website improvements will enhance SEO, resolve technical issues, and improve the overall user experience. Here’s a breakdown of the key improvements:

SEO and Content Structure Enhancements

• Updated Schema Across Content: We’ve refined schema markup (for Events, Resources, Success Stories, and more) to meet Google’s latest guidelines, improving search visibility.

• Fix Duplicate H1 Headings: By adjusting code and page content, we’ve removed duplicate main headings to help users and search engines easily understand page topics.

• Valid Hreflang Annotations: Updated language-region codes to ensure search engines display the correct language for our audience.

Smarter Search and Filtering

• Location-Based Search Facets: Filters for “National” and “Any Location” now return accurate results, making finding the right local or national content easier.

Streamlined Content Management

• Multiple Featured Content Carousels: We’ve fixed the issue that prevented adding more than one carousel block during the same edit session, making content updates faster.

• Event Format Field Fix: This fixes a bug that required multiple saves when changing the event field type. Now, changes are saved properly, and only one save action is needed.

• Contrib Module Updates: All Drupal modules have been updated to their latest versions for better performance and security.
