Regional, district, and chapter leaders can determine the prices of local webinars, workshops, and events. Please coordinate with your Regional Vice President on any pricing changes.
We encourage you to find sponsors for client education whenever possible. Please follow the guidance outlined in the Fundraising Toolkit when identifying partners for local programs.
Are all events free now?
No, only events (Regional, District, and Chapter level) that are clearly defined as foundational, high-level introductions to business topics can be designated as free. Please review the event and its delivery to determine if it is foundational or higher. Aspects to consider include the event's description, duration and interactivity level.
Can Chapters or Districts Decide if an event is free?
Yes, provided that the Chapter or District has thoroughly reviewed the event to ensure that the event qualifies as a free Foundational event. If you have questions regarding the definition of a Foundational event, please email webinars@score.org.
What is the difference between the levels of sponsorships?
It is recommended that all chapters attempt to find local sponsors for events, especially these Foundational events, as it continues to provide a source of revenue in lieu of registration fees. We encourage you to collect revenue from one source for client education. If you can find a sponsor for the event, it should be free to the public. If you can't find a sponsor, please set a price that's suitable for your market.
