3/6/24 - Upcoming Sprint Release

After collaborating with our Website Task Force, we will release improvements and bug fixes to the SCORE.org website and chapter websites on March 7.

1/18/24 - Client Profile Feature Update and Homepage Updates

We are actively testing a new client profile feature on SCORE.org that will allow clients to log in and create a profile. This lays the foundation for future enhancements, such as personalized website experiences tailored to the client's business stage and preferences. It will also allow us to recommend workshops and mentors based on their preferences. These improvements will significantly boost services and engagement.

12/20/23 - Brand Guide Updates & Client Profile Feature Update

Explore our newest brand guide, now available on the Support Center. The guide contains new information that we encourage you to familiarize yourself with as you create pages on the website. There are also two different versions of the guide that you can use. The Interactive Digital Brand Guide contains information for SCORE volunteers, such as our history, brand story, brand visuals, brand voice and digital branding guidelines. The second version is the public or external Brand Guide tailored for vendors. This version is a downloadable PDF that is much shorter and focuses primarily on the brand story, visuals and voice.

11/17/23 - Client Profile Feature Update

We have begun testing on our new client profile feature that will allow clients to log in and create a profile on SCORE.org. This lays the foundation for future improvements, such as a personalized website experience tailored to the client's business stage and desired topics. It will also allow us to recommend workshops and mentors based on their preferences. We believe these improvements will lead to increased services and engagement. The goal is to release this new feature to the public at the end of November.

10/19/23 - New Main Menu and Client Profile Feature

If you’ve visited score.org this week, you might have noticed that we’ve made a few minor changes this week to the main menu. We’ve temporarily removed the Browse by Business Stage option and added a Templates & Resources link. We’ve also renamed Business Education to Workshops & Events. These changes are part of a project to simplify and improve the navigation to make it easier to find SCORE services and resources.

9/21/23 -Website Update: Website Changes Coming Soon

The marketing team and the website task force have worked together to prioritize the enhancements you’ve submitted through the website enhancement request form. This release is tentatively scheduled for the end of September/early October and will contain several important improvements. 7/20/23 -Website Update: Website Changes Coming August 1

The marketing team and the website task force have been actively working on the next website release. See all the information on the upcoming release in this month's release notes.

6/15/23 - Upcoming Content Freeze, Website Enhancement Form Updates and More

The marketing team and the website volunteer task force are testing a new version of the website that will add a few new features, including success story features on mentor profiles, fixes to the sitemap, a location filter on the site search and more. Once testing has concluded, we will do a content freeze for roughly 48 hours.

5/18/23 - Website Volunteer Task Force and Website Training Videos Updates

We have expanded our volunteer task force that influences the website development efforts. This was done in response to feedback from volunteers about having a voice in the decision-making process. We now work with a group of 13 volunteers from across the country who will help us prioritize the backlog of bug fixes and enhancement requests.

4/20/23 - Website Changes Coming Soon

We will soon release a few bug fixes to the website. These changes are being made in response to requests submitted through the Website Enhancement Form on the Support Center.

3/16/23 - Mentor Matchmaker Update

We are looking forward to launching the Mentor Matchmaker tool on our website this month. Thank you to those that have already provided feedback on this new functionality. As an update, we decided to postpone the release based on volunteer feedback until it is functioning as intended.

2/16/23 - Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Dashboard Access

Thank you all for continuing to provide website feedback through the Website Enhancement Request Form. We are actively working to prioritize these requests. You can see all the requests that have been submitted here.

12/29/22 - New Website Launch!

We are excited to announce that SCORE’s new website launched successfully on 12/22/22! We can’t thank you enough for your assistance during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). We received such valuable feedback and will continue working through our backlog of BugHerd tickets into the new year and beyond.

10/7/22 - Taxonomy Updates

The primary goal of the website is to connect clients to mentoring, workshops, and other services. The redesigned website includes changes not only to content and design but also to taxonomy terms. Our taxonomy terms are used to organize, define and tag our mentoring expertise and business resources.

9/14/22 - Taxonomy Changes to SCORE.org

New Expertise and Industry Terms are being released tomorrow. Our taxonomy terms are used to organize, define and tag our mentoring expertise and business resources. There are new taxonomy terms for business stages, areas of expertise/business topics, industries, and entrepreneur types in Engage and on the score.org website.

9/9/22 - Content Audit and Migration Wrap-up

Our team has completed the first round of the content audit and has moved the chapter content to the new website. We are working to build out the chapter websites and will invite webmasters to review them on or around 10/21 during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
