AI Profile Improvement Tool

The key to better mentor matches are better Mentor profiles.  Effective profiles help clients find Mentors directly, help Mentors find Co-Mentors, and help Client Intake Coordinators (CICs) match clients and Mentors.  Enhanced profiles also support the AI-enhanced mentor matching initiatives currently in development.

To use the AI Profile Improvement Tool to update your Mentor profile:

  • You will need a free ChatGPT account.
  • Once you are logged in to your ChatGPT account, access the tool here: SCORE Profile Improvement Tool on ChatGPT
  • Click “Begin mentor profile update protocol”
  • When prompted, copy and paste the information you would like ChatGPT to use to create your new profile.  Great options include:
    • Your current SCORE profile
    • Your LinkedIn profile or resume
    • The Mad Lib Profile output
  • Once the tool finishes processing your profile, you can copy and paste the information into the “How Can You Help SCORE Clients?” field of your profile
    • Be sure to proofread and feel free to make any changes, including adding or deleting any “What I Offer” sections and rewording any text to make it sound more like you
    • How to update your profile in Engage
  • Go to SCORE.org to see your updated profile in action
    • The link to your client-facing profile can be found at the top of the "Volunteer Profile Information Displayed on the Website" section of your profile in Engage
