SCORE Treasure Valley Receives $500 DEI grant

In FY2021 SCORE Treasure Valley received a $500 grant for DEI efforts in their community, and used it primarily to develop stronger partnerships with the Hispanic, Bosnian, and Native American communities. They joined the Hispanic chapter and paid for one year, produced a bi-lingual video highlighting the benefits of membership the chapter and the advantages of using client services, and approached local companies to co-sponsor future DEI efforts. To date they raised additional $2,500.

Their flagship initiative is hosting a co-sponsored roundtable for clients with all of these new partnerships. 

SCORE Treasure Valley feels limited by the few bilingual members in the chapter currently, so they extended an invitation to a neighboring chapter, SCORE South Eastern Oregon for co-mentoring.
