Announcing SCORE's New Regional Structure - Effective July 1, 2025
As part of our continued efforts to strengthen SCORE’s impact and ensure we’re well-positioned for the future, we are announcing an updated, consolidated regional structure that will go into effect on July 1, 2025.
Why Regional Consolidation?
In today’s environment of rapid change and uncertainty, it’s more important than ever to be agile, efficient, and aligned. Consolidating SCORE’s seven current regions into four will allow us to better deliver on these goals and continue evolving to meet the needs of our volunteers, clients, and communities.
Key benefits of this change include:
- Improved Efficiency – Streamlined operations reduce redundancy and allow for better resource allocation and oversight.
- Enhanced Consistency – A simplified structure supports standardized processes, policies, and experiences across the country.
- Stronger Regional Support – Larger, better-resourced regions allow for deeper, more focused leadership and engagement.
- Focus on Core Markets – Enables us to prioritize high-impact areas while phasing out regions less strategically aligned.
- Better Data Insights – Fewer regions allow for more accurate and actionable data collection and reporting.
- Scalability & Flexibility – A leaner structure makes SCORE more responsive to emerging trends and changes.
- Improved Communication – Easier and faster communication between HQ and the field.
- Strategic Alignment & Input – Supports long-term planning with clear input from Regional Leaders, aligning with evolving market demands.
