SCORE Savannah FY20 "Rookie of the Year"

Volunteer Jess Belfrey has been with SCORE Savannah since just March of 2020, but she is already making a huge impact with entrepreneurs in her community! One client of Jess gave SCORE and Jess a special shoutout on Instagram.

The client, Laura Marshall of Heart Happy Organizing, has great info about the power of SCORE.  Although she is located in Atlanta, Jess has been mentoring her virtually through 2020.  Laura lost her job as an executive with Marriot due to COVID so she reached out to SCORE to help her start her own business. She truly made lemonade out of lemons! 

Laura writes: Entrepreneurs who work with a mentor are five times more likely to start a business than those who do not have a mentor. And, small business owners who receive three or more hours of mentoring, report higher revenues 💲 and increased growth 📈.
