Dean,
I had always dreamed of having my own business while dedicating the past 10 years to working in the
construction industry. Although I had developed technical expertise in my field, I still lacked the knowledge of how to start, grow and run a business. This past year I made the bold decision to seek assistance to shore up these weaknesses and accelerate my growth. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made because your mentorship has been a personal transformation for me.

We spoke about my business plan of how to reach potential clients and keep detailed records of
sales/marketing activities in our first meeting in March. I realized after that meeting that I had much more to learn but was empowered to take on these exciting challenges. In our second meeting in April, we spoke about how to position myself as a trusted advisor and how to ask focused questions for desired results on lead calls and networking events. These were concepts that I was never exposed to in my career. You have assisted me immensely in developing solid business fundamentals. These learning experiences have carried through to each subsequent meeting and have given me the confidence and assurance that I’m on the right track to provide a solid base for my company.

I would like to thank you for your mentorship and for volunteering your time to help me start my business. Through your guidance, I can see a dramatic difference in my development and know my journey would have been different without your support. You’re always ready to offer various seminars, identify resources and develop contacts to grow my business. I look forward to more meetings filled with discussions about growing pains, revenue and celebrations!
