On Thursday, July 30th, SBA Administrator Jovita Carranza, visited the MN District SBA office to hear how the EIDL & PPP programs, as well as recent civil unrest, have impacted Minnesota.
Kimberly Alwin, SCORE District Director of Minnesota, was among the invited guests of this round table discussion. During the discussion, Administrator Carranza proudly recalled her time on the SCORE Board for the group of distinguished guests.
Kimberly was given the opportunity to share with Madam Administrator and the rest of the guests the current SCORE environment in Minnesota. She highlighted their successful Women Veterans Workshop program as well as their Pay it Forward initiative, which matches SME’s with local minority groups seeking assistance with loans and grants.
All in the room were impressed with the Administrator’s interest in the group's needs and suggestions to better serve our local business owners.
Thanks to Kimberly and the rest of our MN volunteers for all the support and guidance they have provided to their respective communities.
