If your SCORE chapter is looking to host a virtual event (ie. volunteer recruiting event or local conferences) below are a few tools that may be of interest.
For the 2020 National Virtual Leadership Conference SCORE worked with the platform Intrado and their team supported us, in addition to our own internal staff point person. Plus we had a lot of wonderful volunteer coordination to put together all the great content you saw!
More information on Intrado here: https://www.inxpo.com/poweredbyinxpo/?ShowKey=98297
For past Virtual Conferences, SCORE has also used the platform 6connex: https://www.6connex.com/
>> Both of these will cost a few thousand dollars.
SCORE Pittsburgh ran a volunteer fair in the fall of 2020, and through Accelevants: https://www.accelevents.com/
This is a much lower-cost set-up, out of the box platform. Accelevents has weekly free training webinars available to help you get set up too.
John Hayes is the contact in Pittsburgh who is leading this initiative (john.hayes@scorevolunteer.org).
>>This should cost $500 total + a percentage of ticket fees if you decide to charge attendees/sponsors.
You can also consider the following platforms:
- Engagez - https://engagez.com/
- Hopin – https://hopin.to
