Simple Steps in Planning SCORE Women’s Zoom events
- Propose the idea to the Chapter
- Call a meeting of the women who are interested
- Brainstorm: Date, Time, Topic and Theme
- Discuss format: Morning, Lunch, happy Hour
- Networking to support women in business
- Format: breakout rooms, speakers, presenters, facilitators, panels
- Identify volunteers to help:
- Flyers, promotion, mailing lists
- Facilitator and support on zoom
- Identify Speakers
- Make calls, follow up emails
- Identify those who have attended and supported past events. Reach out with a personal call or email.
- Develop Committees and engage volunteers
- Develop list of sponsors
- Involve other women’s organizations to participate
- Include SCORE chapters in the district/nationwide
- SBA, WBC, SBDC, Chambers
- Who can we collaborate with to promote?
- Constant contact and social media
- Registration (charge or no charge)
- Reminders of event sent out multiple times
- Evaluation form or poll
- Monthly meetings to plan and Recap
