The most important priority for SCORE is to protect the health and safety of our volunteers, clients, staff, and all stakeholders. The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted the way we are assisting our clients. This change has also allowed us to adapt to utilizing technology to become more responsive to their immediate and long-term needs.
We have made the decision to adapt to these same changes by holding this year’s National Leadership Conference in a Virtual Conference environment. For those of you who have attended the Client and Volunteer Virtual Conferences we have held, you know that this is an amazing platform that will work well for this meeting. We also know that by moving to a Virtual Conference we will have to do things a little differently than if we were all together in one location. This will provide us with an opportunity to add to the number of people who may attend and to have the ability to customize the information to specific needs.
We are still planning to hold the conference the first week of August. We will provide regular updates as we get closer to the conference dates. Thank you for understanding and for all that you are doing to provide such wonderful help to our clients, each and every day.
Be on the lookout for monthly NLC Bulletins starting in May 2020. These email updates will include information regarding conference registration, pre-conference to-dos, content sneak peaks, reimbursement guidelines, and partner news.
