SCORE Content Contribution Guide
Thanks for your interest in sharing content on SCORE.org. We’re pleased to partner with you to provide helpful tips, tools and information for small business owners across the nation.
Please review this guide to understand the guidelines and process for sharing your content with SCORE.
Content Mission & Guidelines
Our goal is to provide the education & tools necessary to help successfully start, grow, or exit a small business.
Due to SCORE’s status as a non-profit association funded through government grants, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines when sharing content:
- Prohibited from promoting, selling, offering discounts, or advertising any products or services or link directly to any promotions in your content. Under our grant restrictions, we cannot sell any product(s) to our clients. In sharing educational resources, you’ll position yourself as an educational expert in your area of expertise and clients will naturally click to your site to learn more about you.
- Prohibited from promoting any political leanings or views. SCORE is funded by Congress through the SBA and has partnerships with government agencies so we must remain unbiased. Furthermore, we would like to provide our clients with unbiased and appropriate content.
- If listing your company as a source of information for clients, we ask that you list at least two other resources related to the topic. Due to our grant, we cannot directly promote the products or services of a specific partner and must provide at least 3 resources to remain impartial.
You can include a logo/headshot for the content and a brief description of your company (not to exceed 100 words). We are happy to hyperlink to your site in the company description and image.
