The SCORE Foundation is working to build partnerships that will help us achieve our strategic goals. Our sponsors benefit you and your clients by providing educational content, local subject matter experts, workshop presenters, and promotional assistance to market SCORE and attract new clients. Below is more information about some of our current partner initiatives as they relate to SCORE Chapters and our clients.

Deluxe & SLATE 2.0. Deluxe, a long time National Partner, continues to support our volunteer education programs. Deluxe is the founding sponsor of SCORE mentor certification and counseling methodology – SLATE and the newly revised SLATE 2.0 platform. Additionally, Starting on March 11, 2019 Deluxe will launch their 2019 Small Business event series. The series will be held in the finalist 10 towns of the Small Business Revolution Main Street contest from mid-March through May. Each of these towns has an unbelievably strong commitment to their community and the success of local businesses. Each event will feature a full-day of education featuring topics like: developing a marketing strategy, getting your business online, staying connected with customers via social media and email marketing and budgeting & managing cash flow. FranNet is comprised of an independent network of over 100 local consultants that help entrepreneurs mitigate their risk of business ownership through franchising. FranNet and SCORE have partnered together to make educational resources like SCORE counseling available to those interested in business ownership. FranNet consultants can be on hand to help with local workshops as well as supply our SCORE Road Map to Success Booklets to your chapter office. Kimco Realty Corporation, a premier owner and operator of open-air shopping centers, has partnered with SCORE for more than three year, supporting educational content and the SCORE Awards. Kimco Realty has provided great educational resources to help small businesses with leasing, restaurant and retails questions. Additionally, Kimco tenants and prospective tenants are referred to SCORE mentors based on their individual needs and access to SCORE training, counseling and other services available through SCORE’s local chapters throughout the U.S.

MassMutual will continue to support the weekly SCORE Biz Tips and take the lead on delivery of multi-cultural education for SCORE volunteers and small business owners. OnDeck has collaborated with SCORE to launch to build a workshop in-a-box about alternative, e.g. non-bank, financing. Simple Steps to Choosing the Right Financing workshop in-a-box, provides a view into the world of online lending and helping to guide businesses to their best funding options. To help you implement this workshop in your community, we have created a Workshop in a Box that includes resources to prepare for, present, and market the workshop in your community. All materials can be found by clicking on Workshop Programs page. A $250 grant is available for a limited number of chapters offering this workshop.
