Effective 7/1/2019 the new volunteer application, email, and CORE entry process was changed. Part of this change is that all new volunteers are now required to obtain a SCORE email address.
Updated Policy for Entering New Volunteers into CORE
To ensure new volunteers are entered in CORE correctly, the help desk is now entering all new volunteers to CORE at the same time as creating their new SVO emails. Chapter leaders and admins should no longer be entering new volunteers into CORE.
As a reminder, if your chapter receives walk-in prospective volunteers, please have them fill out the application on score.org. An account cannot be created until there is a valid application in the system.
If you would like to request a SVO email address for a new volunteer, please click on the Request SCORE Email for Volunteers under the Chapter Admins links in CORE. These requests should not be sent to the helpdesk.
