SCORE Cape Cod & The Islands Build Inclusive Communities

SCORE Cape Cod & The Islands has a unique approach to building inclusive communities that stems from their commitment to sharing wisdom and business expertise. Under SCORE mentor Marc Goldberg's guidance, SCORE Cape Cod and the Islands has maintained a strong partnership with the Cape Cod Times. Together, SCORE Cape Cod and the Islands and the Cape Cod Times have regularly published columns on small business best practices over the past decade.

Goldberg further built upon this knowledge exchange by sharing a condensed version of "Biz Tips from SCORE" with all fifteen Chambers of Commerce in the area, who sought content for their community newsletters. Goldberg wrote a column in honor of Black Business Month, and in a recent article, showcased the success and business growth of new small businesses in the community that were mentored by SCORE. 

The Biz Tips articles have been such a valuable contribution to the community that Cape Cod 5 Bank and Rogers Gray Insurance supported the chapter in transforming its initial two hundred columns into a book that lending officers now share with aspiring small business owners.
