1. Event Manager (EM) Logs into Engage to create webinar event.
- Event can be in draft format until the EM has completed necessary revisions, added photo, and presenter. *Ensuring photos are copyright eligible to be used.
- Photos can be downloaded from gettyimages.com or otherwise licensed images, Reference: SCORE Image Resources.
- SCORE Chapter Logos kits should be used to indicate event host. Regional logo will be used for regional promotions as relevant.
- The Regional Workshop Coordinator (RWC) will (cut and paste) text from the Engage webinar event as is.
2. RWC will check for minor typos (Event Title and Event Description), and will make edits directly in Engage (i.e. markeeting should be marketing). This is a simplistic error of an additional letter “e”. This is inclusive of extra spaces between words (i.e. Learn about the small business should be Learn about the small business)
Errors that will require EM correction include:

- questionable spelling of Presenter, Product, Webinar Title, Certain Jargons
- Event description grammar and punction marks (i.e. Tax 101! >> Recommend no exclamation mark in event title).
- (Short Description) is more than a repeat of the Event Title. It should be 1-2 lines describing the event. If not, Clients are seeing a repeat of the Event Title when they Register.
In these cases, the RWC will send notice to the CC via an explanation and/or revision.
Suggestion: EM’s can drop their Event Description into MS Word and run the text through the Editor Check, or use Grammarly as a plugin for spelling and grammar checks real time.
