SCORE Broward and the City of Miramar Present the Miramar Business Academy

SCORE Broward and the City of Miramar are launching a business academy consisting of 13 online sessions covering various business topics. 

Read more about the academy from George Gremse, Chapter Chair of SCORE Broward.  "The Academy has created a fall 2023 program that consists of 13 on-line sessions on business topics held on-line once a week for two hours from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. The program is targeted to help entrepreneurs and owners of businesses that are operating for less than 2 years. This is a certificate program. Participants who complete the course and write a business plan will receive a Graduation Certificate and be honored by the City of Miramar's Economic Development & Housing Department. They could also be eligible to apply for up to a $10,000 grant from the city. Micro loans and some community based loans from other sources can be available to entrepreneurs and business owners with business plans and financial projections from the course. The Miramar Business Academy starts September 11, 2023. Participants will be provided with a business plan template, a profit and loss statement template, and a financial projection program. The course contents are geared to filling in the plan. SCORE mentors will be available to assist with the preparation of the documents."
