One SCORE Pilot
SCORE has been using the phrasing 'One SCORE Organization' for a few years now to recognize all of the collaborative efforts being made by volunteers across the country to better support SCORE clients. More details about the One SCORE Culture can be found here: https://help.score.org/hc/en-us/articles/360061752814-One-SCORE-Organization
In 2022, SCORE districts started to identify ways they could share resources to be more effective for their communities. District Shared Services started to emerge. We saw so much success with this that in 2023 a few SCORE districts volunteered to pilot 'District Centralization' for parts of operations with the goal of alleviating administrative burden and expanding their reach and impact.
In Fiscal Year 2024 the Mid-Atlantic and Central Regional Leaders have volunteered to expand upon a One SCORE pilot of collaboration across chapters with the goal of a more consistent client and volunteer experience with SCORE.
What is driving this need to Pilot?
SCORE has existed for 60 years….how do we continue forward in the EVOLUTION of SCORE in a changing world of Client Expectations and Volunteering?
SCORE needs to grow, innovate, reach more Clients and expand the capacity to do so.
Our focus will be on:
—Consistency that focuses on the Client’s Need
—Need to better manage Client and & Volunteer expectations
—Striving to achieve Administrative consistency and consolidation of work
